The job of Smart Stake
Smart Stake is not a prediction engine. It is a sizing tool. You enter the odds and your estimated win probability, then Betfolyo compares the implied probability, edge, bankroll, and cautious Kelly multiplier.
The useful part is not only the suggested number. It is the saved comparison between what the plan recommended and what you actually staked.
Why save the snapshot
When Smart Stake data is stored with a bet, reports can later answer better questions:
- How often did you bet above the recommendation?
- Did positive-edge bets actually perform better?
- Was risk concentrated in a few oversized positions?
- Did the average stake follow bankroll movement?
That makes staking discipline visible instead of emotional.
Review the exceptions
Sometimes you will intentionally exceed the suggested stake. Betfolyo treats that as a review point, not an automatic failure. The important habit is to know when you broke the plan and why.
